continuing the north end food tour, eric and I dropped into Bova’s bakery.
see those little lovely parsels above? those are beautiful strombolis and one of
them walked out there door with eric and I, and into Monica’s next door
for some ricotta cheese. there I was presented with the freshest, most lovely
hand-made ricotta which came in a little perforated tin (! a tin!). i can only
imagine said tin had been artfully packed with some fantastic worn shovel-like
scooper, as it said ‘hand-dipped’ on the label.
